Ok, new game plus and beyond is not ballanced for synergies. Reaching Level 100 helps (not required) however it's farming Skulls of Limony and possibly Reichliu or even Eyes of Grell that is the most useful to survive hits for added content. It is currently the best place to level up your characters because every monster scales to your level.
